Newton’s Thinkers at Columbia Park
Where family energy, student support, and school pride meet.
Columbia Park Newton’s Thinkers serves students in kindergarten through sixth grade through after-school, Saturday, and summer programming focused on academic support, enrichment, mentoring, family engagement, and student growth.

About the Site
At Columbia Park, students participate in reading and math support, STEAM experiences, service learning, character development, family events, and activities that connect with the school day while supporting the whole child.
Columbia Park has a powerful family presence. The turnout at family events is one of the defining features of the program, and that support sends students a clear message: their learning matters, and their community is behind them.
There is real spirit at Columbia Park. It shows up when families gather, when students participate, and when the program becomes a shared space for academic progress and community connection. The school has also been recognized by MSDE as one of Maryland’s Top 50 Improved Schools, reflecting its commitment to growth during and beyond the regular school day.
