Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website may use cookies or similar technologies that support basic website functionality, security, analytics, preferences, or improvement of our online services.

Some features of our website may be provided through third-party services that use their own technologies and operate under their own privacy policies.

Your browser or device may provide controls that allow you to limit or disable certain cookies.

Third-Party Websites and Services

Our website, communications, or programs may contain links to websites, platforms, payment services, registration systems, social media services, or other services operated by third parties.

This Privacy Policy does not govern the independent privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy notices when providing information directly to them.

Better Than School provides programs and activities that may serve children and young people. Our general website, inquiry forms, and public communication channels are intended primarily for parents, guardians, educators, partners, and other adults.

We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information online directly from children under 13 without appropriate parent or guardian involvement or authorization where required.

Parents, guardians, schools, and other authorized adults may provide information about children in connection with participation in our programs or services. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the circumstances in which it was collected.

Information Security

We take reasonable steps designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no website, electronic communication, storage system, or method of transmitting information can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information.

Your Privacy Choices and Requests

You may contact us to ask questions about our privacy practices or to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with you.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, certain requests may be subject to verification, limitations, exceptions, or record-retention requirements.

You may unsubscribe from marketing email communications using the unsubscribe method provided in the communication, where available. You may opt out of SMS communications by replying STOP.

Residents of jurisdictions that provide additional privacy rights may exercise those rights as provided by applicable law. We will handle qualifying requests in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
